RRR was eagerly awaited in Telugu states and overseas. Rajamouli has a god level following in the U.S. and it’s reflecting right from the pre-sales of RRR. The film has released now and is on a rampage mode to say the least.
The Rajamouli drama made 3.2 million from the premiere shows which is a record in itself. Until Friday at 7 PM EST, the period drama had made $1.55 Million. This is pretty good trending so-far. RRR day one total would be a little above $5 million.
Baahubali 2 made 4.5 million on day one (Premiers + day one) in the U.S. and everyone predicted that RRR would break the Baahubali 2 record. But the way RRR is trending once again highlights the potential of Telugu cinema.
