One skull cap has actually kindled controversy on the portrayal of Komaram Bheem character in Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus RRR. The first glimpse of NTR in the intro video with a skull cap as Komaram Bheem proved that this is going to be food for controversy, big time.
Besides the controversy, publicly politician Bandi Sanjay issues a threatening message to Rajamouli for showing Komaram Bheem character wearing a skull cap as it represents one religious community. He challenged Rajamouli if he can show a religious community wearing saffron robes.
The threat went to the extent of issuing a warning that they are going to beat Rajamouli to death if he continues to portray Komaram Bheem in a different light. But, Rajamouli and his team always maintained that RRR is a fictional story and nothing related to our struggle for independence.
Looks like RRR is going to be one of the Central points of controversy and let’s see how Rajamouli would handle this threat. Would his silence speak or else would he respond to the threats and explain his point?
