Producer Suresh Babu’s ‘Krishna And His Leela‘ that has been streaming on Netflix will soon be available on Allu Aravind’s ‘Aha’ digital platform, as well. Though Rana released their movie on an OTT platform, his father is sceptical of digital releases for various reasons.
One of the reason is the content. A director like Rajamouli, if he wants to release his RRR directly on an OTT Platform, audiences would be ready to pay even Rs. 500 for a view because of the name the director has earned for himself.
However, the second reason for being sceptical is because of the revenues earned through OTT platforms. One doesn’t understand whether a movie is a hit or a flop and the revenue from the movie would solely depend on the number of views on the movie.
For the time being, the producer isn’t going to begin the shooting of his two prestigious projects aka ‘Narappa’ with Venkatesh and mythological drama ‘Virataparvam’ with Rana Daggubati playing the lead.
Both the movies need a big team and they can’t compromise using limited number of people on the sets. Meanwhile, the family is planning Rana’s wedding and they know that it’s not going to be big until things are restored to normalcy.
