Rajendra Prasad jayasudha maa elections 2015 winnerThe Movie Arts Association biennial elections are becoming hotter by the day. In the latest press meet held by Jayasudha and the panel constituted by her supporters went harsh on political intervenion in the upcoming elections for the association. Inevitably two different groups are formed supporting Jayasudha on one side and Rajendra Prasad on the other side.

Jayasudha’s main allegation is on Rajendra Prasad for trying to put political pressure on her while he had the option to talk to the cinema industry biggies to see the possibility of unanimous election. She didn’t find fault with the politician though, who acted on the direction of Rajendra Prasad group. But she felt he could have spoken to industry bigheads instead. That’s the reason why Jayasudha has decided to go for contesting the elections.

The senior actress who is in candidature for the post of MAA President gave a call for non-intervention from politicians and asked the film artists not to bring in politics into cinema matters. This same political intervention made her to decide to continue herself in the elections. She says, ‘For Women, it’s now or never in the MAA elections’. She expressed full confidence on winning the elections as she stood up for elections being backed up by many biggies in the industry.
