Indian films are notoriously popular for songs and dance sequences. It’s a regular format to have four to five songs in a film. This isn’t going to apply to superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘2.0’.
Unlike in the prequel ‘Enthiran’ which had seven songs and this sequel is going to have only one song in the film. But, there would be five or six songs on the album. It is learnt that the only song that would appear in the film is a duet between Rajinikanth and heroine Amy Jackson.
This song was exclusively shot in Ukraine, in exotic locales as it was a habit of Shankar to showcase exotic locales in the songs of his films. Academy Award winning music composer AR Rehman is rendering music for this film. Going by the previous collaboration of Shankar-Rehman, one can expect an impressive album for ‘2.0’.
