Tolly-young-heroines

We have had enough of Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman, who mostly steal tunes from other languages to compose songs in Telugu. One of recent examples from Balupu, which has music by Thaman, is a song called Kajalu Chelliva, which is badly lifted from the Hindi song called Dil Me Baji Guitar from Apna Sapna Money Money (cross check if you want). We don’t have to talk Devi particularly because most of his tunes sound similar.

We should make way to young composers like Mickey J Meyer, Anup Rubens, Sunny and Shravan. Of the recent albums, I thoroughly enjoyed Swamy Ra Ra and Alias Janaki, which has music by Sunny and Shravan, respectively. These young composers are creative and are highly enthusiastic. I think producers should be more open to work with such young composers.

In fact, Dasari Narayana Rao recently told Thaman that he needs to be creative else he can’t identify his own songs after a point of time because they all sound similar.
