Legendary composer M.S. Viswanathan, popularly known as MSV died this morning at a private hospital in Chennai. 87 year old has been fighting some age related health issues. Sadly when he was ready to be taken back home his health deteriorated and breathed his last at 4.15 am this morning.
MSV is a legendary composer who has ushered a new trend in South Indian music with his style. He started his filmy career in 1952 and composed music for over 750 movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and has left a lasting impression everywhere with his work. In Telugu, Anthuleni Kathaa, Idhi Katha Kaadu, Aakali Rajyam and Maro Charitra are few classics from the legend to name a few.
He has been an inspiration as music director to many other legends that came in his wake like Ilaiyaraja and AR Rahman.
