RGV’s ‘Sawaal’ To Govt!Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma more often than not is in headlines over his satirical potshots governing various things. While many believe that this is a publicity stunt to stay in public glare, others call it a major relief as they get to laugh out loud reading his hilarious pun intended tweets.

RGV has now shot a question at the government and explicitly hinted at the inefficiency in handling this unprecedented COVID crisis. The director firstly questioned about implementing the logic behind the night curfew. He argues that when the work activity happens majorly in the day, there is no point in putting a night curfew.

RGV then questioned about the absence of a spokesperson in the country, unlike in the US where Anthony S. Fauci is the concerned person for any queries on the pandemic. “Back home we have any ABC speaking on the crisis, there is no benchmark to it where a single person can solve our queries. This lack of benchmark makes people clueless and further ambiguity on the crisis continues,” says RGV.

On the work front, RGV’s latest flick D Company released on the latest digital streaming platform, Spark OTT. The film is dear to RGV as this is the subject the filmmaker has often been associated with- gangsters and guns. While the new OTT platform has got good subscribers, the film has nothing new to offer except for a routine drama.
