RGV's Loose Tongue, Producer Loses 1.2 CroreRam Gopal Varma is controversy’s favourite child. Once made headlines for his films and style of making, now the director stays in limelight for his whacky statements which are nowhere near to films.

Producer Rama Satyanarayana now made a shocking revelation as to how RGV’s speech incurred him huge loss. The producer revealed that he bankrolled the film Ice cream, helmed by RGV starring Navdeep and Tejaswi Madivada. The film made good hype but couldn’t weave the magic on the big screen. The film satellite rights were sold off to Gemini for a fancy price, but RGV’s one speech made things upside down for him.

The producer said that the film was bought by Gemini for nearly Rs 1.2 crores but RGV’s speech made them cancel the deal resulting in mounting loss. Throwing more light on it, Rama Satyanarayana says, “RGV in his speech said that I invested only Rs 2 lakh. This made Gemini people to assume that they had unnecessarily bought it for a huge amount, thus they backed out,” says the producer.

The producer adds that sadly they didn’t listen to the entire speech of RGV but merely went on clickbait headlines. “RGV said that artistes and others didn’t take money initially, but upon film success took the money which was given by Dasari Narayana Rao, but without listening to this part Gemini cancelled the deal, and I couldn’t get any satellite deal,” says the producer.
