RGV‘s name has become synonymous for sensation, since long. It’s no surprise to know that he is making a film using one of the most controversial and highly debated honour killings, a father allegedly getting his son-in-law killed because the latter happens to belong to a different caste (lower caste).
He shared a series of tweets explaining how he is going to portray his principal characters playing the real-life characters of Amrutha, the daughter who married a man out of her caste and her father, Maruthi who allegedly got him murdered.

There is a twist, though. RGV is not going to show Maruthi Rao as a murderer without a heart but as a sad father who loved his daughter too much and his over possessiveness, and their overdrawn love.
The announcement of ‘SAD Father’s birthday on Father’s Day’, wrote RGV. If RGV is on the scene, that means there is no scarcity of sensation. Actress Avancha Sahithi is playing Amrutha while actor Srikanth Iyengar is playing Maruthi Rao’s role.
