Only few heoines make a mark when make their debut into films. And late Ziah Khan is definitely one of them because her first movie came as a shocker to the Bollywood audience. The cute and svelte actress played a cute free spirited teenager who falls in love with her friend’s father who is more than double her age. She is an RGV find. Later Ziah did some Hindi films but somehow, her first film remained her best film. Suddenly one day on 3rd June 2013, the hot heroine was found dead in her flat in an apartment in Mumbai. The initial investigations suggested suicide.
Her boyfriend Suraj pancholi was arrested but later released on bail. After a letter penned by the actress was found, Jiah mother raised doubts on whether her daughter’s death was a suicide or murder. She has been fighting for justice since then. Jiah mother has been unsatisfied with the investigation and hence moved the courts with her plea to transfer the case to CBI. But CBI tried to stay away quoting shortage of man power to deal the case. Finally CBI took over the case and registered a formal case to investigate the death of the actress.
