Respite Amidst Heavy Criticism For Iconic Music Director

Respite-Amidst-Heavy-Criticism-For-Iconic-Music-Director-A.-R.-RahmanThe legendary and iconic music director, Oscar Award Winner, AR Rahman is going through a rough lately. The musician is getting criticised for his songs in the biggies Sarkar and 2.0. For the latter, even his background score was under the scanner with many calling it an epic disappointment.

Well, here is some good news for the fans of AR Rahman. The new album of the musician Sarvam Thaala Mayam (in Tamil and Telugu) is giving respite amidst the severe backlash. The title song that came out a few days ago was an instant hit among the music lovers, and now they have a new song “Maaya Maaya” to devour upon.

The latest song is a typical melody from AR Rahman in his current phase. The sound is world class, but the tune is weak. It is better here though. Sarvam Thaala Mayam is eagerly anticipated due to the return of Rajeev Menon as director after almost a decade. The movie stars GV Prakash in the lead, and it will hit screens in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously on December 28th.
