The trend of Remix songs is currently reigning Telugu film industry. The trend popularly started with NTR’s Yamadonga in which SS Rajamouli remixed NTR’s popular song ‘Olammi Thikka Regindhaa’. The song was an instant chartbuster as NTR and Mamata Mohandas rendered it. This trend continued in several other movies. Chiru’s Bangaru Kodi Petta song in Magadheera, Balayya’s Danchave Menatha Koothura in Nani’s Ride. Interestingly all the songs were super hits.
Ram Charan’s Racha too had the remix of Vaana Velluvaye and the movie too went on to become huge hit and now the makers of Charan – Vinayak movie are also remixing ‘Subhalekha raskunna’ song. Also, reports are coming in that Nara Rohit’s Okkadine has the remix version of Puttintollu Tharimesaru song from NTR’s Vetagadu.
All the remix songs have gone well with audience and even the success rate of the movies with remix songs is also very high. So, the makers are trying to remix oldies in the movies.
