Rajamouli is a busy man these days. He is flying between Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad to promote Makkhi, the dubbed version of Eega. The movie had caught enough attention from the national media. CNN – IBN’s Rajeev Masand had interviewed Rajamouli about the movie and asked is he is not interested in remaking his movies himself.
Rajamouli asserted that “Directing a Hindi movie is always on cards for me, but remakes do not excite me. I do not want to reinvest my energy on a story which already used up two years of my life. I would make straight Hindi film very soon,” he said. “Every director aspires to reach the wider audiences and get applause from all quarters. So my Bollywood debut is always on cards,” he added.
