Generally, release dates of movies are postponed but those are being advanced both in Tollywood and Bollywood. Recently release date of Attarintiki Daredi was advanced and became a big hit at the box office. Rakesh Roshan has advanced the release date of his son Hrithik Roshan’s prestigious movie Krrish-3. Earlier, it was scheduled to hit the screens on November 4th but it will be released on November 1st, two days before Diwali.
Diwali is a major festival in North India and Bollywood earns huge revenues in the holiday season. Advancing the movie for the three days, the film is likely to collect around Rs.15 to Rs.20 crore, according to box office analysts. Krrish 3 movie which has already generated curiosity among the audience is likely to fetch more revenue for the filmmakers. “Distributors and exhibitors took a decision to release the movie on November 1. I agreed with them.” Rakesh Roshan told media. “Diwali is coming on a Sunday, so it is good to release the film before that,” he added. Krrish 3, the third film in the franchise that began with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003.
