Ram has been late to announce the next movie after the blockbuster success of Ismart Shankar, but he is for sure making up for it. The Energetic Star has come out all guns blazing and is shifting the focus to summer of 2020 for Telugu cinema.
Red will arrive on April 9th, 2020. It is the best date as far as early summer release is considered. The second day is Good Friday and the following day leads to the weekend. Then there is an extended weekend ahead with another holiday in the weekday.
The summer of 2020 from Telugu film will be all about the young stars. There are no star movies in the first half of 2020. So far none of the young stars has announced a date for their next releases. Ram is taking the first-mover advantage.
A mass movie with a unique concept as follow up to Ismart Shankar is right planning for Ram. Only the director looks iffy here as he has no prior experience of handling either mass content or thriller. It is the only weak link in what appears like a foolproof plan to score a big success at the box office.
