Nani’s Dasara is gearing up for its release on the 30th of this month and the stakes are high on this action thriller drama which happens to be the costliest project in Nani’s career by a fair distance.
The latest news pertaining to Dasara is that it passed the censor scrutiny, with a whopping 36 cuts.
This should be some sort of a record for a mainstream Telugu film as not often does a film have 36 cuts and corrections in the censor scrutiny.
What this also shows is that Dasara is a rooted film with Telangana dialect. For films with such raw and rustic elements, it is common for the dialogues to be striking and there will very well be usage of swear words.
Dasara is directed by Srikanth Odela and it has Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. It is being promoted as a strong rooted Telangana-based action drama set in Singareni Mine Fields backdrop.
Nani is aggressively promoting the film across the nation now. It should be interesting to see the pan Indian box office prospects of the film, given the affinity north audience have with rooted south films.
