Reason Karan Johar Couldn't Buy Nani's Jersey Movie Remake Rights We have earlier updated the readers that Bollywood star producer Karan Johar is going to acquire the Hindi remake rights of Nani‘s ‘Jersey’. But, that didn’t happen and now, the Telugu producers are on board for the remake as well.

There seem to be two reasons for Karan not buying Hindi rights. The first reason is quoting a very low price for the remake rights. The second reason is that Karan wanted to produce it solo but the original producer wanted a stake in it.

By the end of the day, it is Naga Vamsi (the producer of the original Telugu movie), Allu Aravind and Dil Raju who are going to produce the Hindi remake of ‘Jersey’.

It would be interesting to see who they would pick up for playing Nani’s role as the choice of the actor who plays the role is very crucial for the movie.

When it is Bollywood, the makers need to keep in mind targeting a wider audience and a star who can deliver both as a young man and a middle-aged man, someone like Ranveer Singh or Shahid Kapoor. Let’s see.
