The grand pre-release event of Maha Samudram was held today in Hyderabad. A second theatrical trailer, too, was launched at the event. However, it is the words of director Ajay Bhupati that stood out in the event. He assured a blockbuster at cinemas on October 14th.
Ajay Bhupati, who made a blockbuster debut with RX100, said Maha Samudram would be another one. The story is the king, and it will take the audience on an unforgettable journey. Such is the director’s confidence that he has reportedly asked posters to be printed with ‘Blockbuster’ on them.
The rest of the cast, too, echoed similar sentiments, including Sharwanand and Siddharth. The latter said that Maha Samudram would be a trendsetter movie in Telugu. It is not a comeback for him; instead, it is a re-launch, said the ‘Bommarillu’ star.
Both Sharwanand and Siddartha said that irrespective of the result of the movie, they have got something, and that is the friendship of a lifetime. Their camaraderie was a significant highlight of the event.
Sharwanand, speaking at the end, said that Maha Samudram would make TFI proud. It is a film that would be watched by an Indian audience and not just Telugu people. There are no stars and the story is the highlight concluded Sharwanand.
Maha Samudram, starring Sharwanand, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, Anu Emmanuel, Jagapathi Babu and Rao Ramesh, hits screens worldwide on October 14th.
