Ravi Teja is one actor among Telugu cinema who has films round the clock what with the actor signing up one film after the other. The fact that the actor had multiple releases in the past few years despite slowing down a bit should explain the situation. But strangely the actor hasn’t yet started shooting for a film post his summer release Balupu.
What is more surprising here is that, the actor was going through a spate of flops earlier to Balupu and yet had many films on floor. Balupu gave him the break after the spate of flops and not only that it went on to become the biggest hit in the career of the actor. In defense of Ravi Teja one could say that a number of films were announced as expected to begin soon but none have started while a few have been shelved altogether like the film Power that was to be made with Meher Ramesh.
The only film which came close to being on sets post Balupu has been a film introducing a newcomer Bobby as director with Hansika as heroine. This film was to be produced by YVS Chowdhary and its being heard in film circles that he is the reason why the film has not yet taken off. The latest one hears is that this would be the one to go onto sets immediately once the issues with the producer is settled and a new producer in brought in. Are there people out there who are missing the actor on screen or is this unintentional break a blessing in disguise for the actor?
