Academy Award-winning sound designer Rasool Pookutty is currently working for Shankar-Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ and the technician is in awe of the high-level action that is being filmed for the movie. He is also excited that he would be creating sound for these awesome high-level action sequences.
The award-winning sound designer feels that our Indian filmmakers need to understand the present scenario in which Indian market is flooded with high-level content from Hollywood and those movies are making big money here. So, there is a need for our Indian filmmakers to up the quotient and give good quality to the audiences.
Otherwise, the audiences will compare the content coming from outside to the content made in India. ‘2.0’ will be one of the torch-bearing films to the films made in future for making Indian films with good standards which can compete in international market and also international films capturing Indian market.
