In two of the promotional interviews that Rashmika Mandanna did for promoting her upcoming multi-lingual in four South Indian languages ‘Dear Comrade’ in Tamil, Sai Pallavi’s name cropped up eventually.
For ‘Dear Comrade‘, the makers shortlisted 4-5 names and even did a photo shoot for choosing the heroine. That happened when she was shooting for ‘Geetha Govindam’.
One fine day, the makers came and announced that Rashmika was chosen for ‘Dear Comrade’ though Sai Pallavi’s name was also on the list. The makers didn’t approach Sai Pallavi, at all. Choosing Rashmika was their call.
In another interview, Rashmika came across a google headline saying that she is a threat to Sai Pallavi. For which Rashmika responded quite positively.
According to Rashmika, Sai Pallavi is a sorted out actress and is on the top of her game as a performer but she (Rashmika) is still climbing the ladder. We agree no less with her. Sai Pallavi is indeed a solid performer and Rashmika is on the way to reach that milestone.Don't MissCan Saaho Help Avoid A Major Embarrassment For Indian Cinema? The all-important week for Telugu cinema has arrived.
