Rashmika Mandanna busy shooting for her next, Sulthan of Tamil hero Karthi’s 19th film and faced an angry mob protesting outside the location to stop the shooting. The mob was objecting the film to be made as they think it is based on their historical king Tippu Sulthan.
The mob claimed that the makers are not supposed to make a film on their king that too at the location that they were shooting which was once ruled by Tippu Sulthan. Whatever. People make biopics on emperors and leaders all the time and the mob not knowing if the film is actually any sort of making on Tippu have created chaos at the time of shooting at Dindigul fort.
Rashmika And Karthi were then shooting at the location according to the report and they had to stop the shooting for a long time for the day’s schedule. Now the producers release a statement officially against the senseless protest of mob saying the creators have all the rights to recreate the stories of legends as allowed by the law and reminded them that it is the sensor board who tells what is allowed and what is not in a movie. Well said. You just can’t do anything to get attention is it?
