Spicy dialogues indeed attract a section of audiences to the theatres and that’s the reason why some filmmakers try to cash on that aspect of human nature. Rashmi, television host turned actress’ characters in films seem to be written on those lines.
Defending her dialogue in the trailer of Aadi’s ‘Next Nuvve‘, Rashmi opines that a bit of spiciness is okay as long as it doesn’t cross the line. But, where does the line exist, in the first place? Rashmi was seen innocently (?) asking, “I wore a saree in that scene and said the dialogue. Where is vulgarity?”
Did she mean to say that any dialogue said draping a saree can’t be counted as vulgar? Then, there would be no bounds, whatsoever using saree as the guise. She feels her characters are glamorous and not vulgar. Vulgarity doesn’t mean only glamour show. There is more than appearance that doesn’t meet the eye but can be felt by the wordings and the body language. What say?
