Janasena’s Only MLA, Rapaka Varaprasad has become a thorn in the flesh of the party. Rapaka is deviating from the party line on every occasion and is lending his full support to YSR Congress Government. He talked against the party line on issues like English Medium etc and is creating confusion in the public.
The other day, he called for a Special Press Meet and lauded the Three Capitals idea of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. This is when Janasena President Pawan Kalyan vehemently opposed the proposal and also send a team in the leadership of Nadella Manohar to the capital area to meet the farmers.
It looks like Rapaka is following Vallabhaneni Vamsi formula to irk his party’s leadership and prompt Pawan Kalyan to suspend him so that he can take the permission of the Speaker to continue as an independent MLA and support YSR Congress from outside.
Even though Rapaka’s strategy is clear, Pawan Kalyan may not spare him for a long time because Rapaka’s deviation from the party-line is sending wrong signals to the public and the party is staying in news for wrong reasons. “He is like the Sixth Finger of a Hand. Finger for namesake but Troublesome,” a party leader says.
