Rangasthalam-And-Bharat-Ane-Nenu-Should-Learn-From-Naa-Peru-SuryaRangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, and Naa Peru Surya are three biggies coming from Telugu cinema in the summer of 2018. Rangasthalam is the first to release, and the other two will follow it in a month’s time. But all this information is known to a fan or a movie enthusiast. If we ask a general audience, the response would be different, and NPS would score highly on awareness front.

If the promotion is an art, right now Allu Arjun is clearly the master of it. There is something or other happening on Naa Peru Surya’s front that is helping the cause. Be it a simple poster, or updates about other language releases, and the release of singles. The star has created a buzz and is continuing to take it further with each passing week.

NPS is a film that releases a month after Rangasthalam and along with Bharat Ane Nenu, but to any common man, the present scenario would give an impression that the Allu Arjun starrer is the first release of the summer and there is nothing else besides it. That is the impact of favorable promotion, and it will show its effect at the time of openings.

In box-office rankings, yes, Bunny is slightly lower than both Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu. But what is happening with the promotion (from Bunny) and lack of (from other two stars) is that gap between the openings, and eventually, the long run is reducing.

Take the case of Dhuvvada Jagannadham and Spyder. A film in the combination of Allu Arjun and Harish Shankar opened bigger than a Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss combo. That’s the power of buzz which Bunny is successfully able to create in his movies whereas others are not able to. And it has very little to do with star power. It is high time for other stars to take note of this fact.
