'Rangasthalam' Has Only 10% in RealLooking at the on-location pics of ‘Rangasthalam‘, we are left in awe for the director’s vision to capture the true aura of the bygone 1980s era. He and his team, especially his art director cum production designer Rama Krishna took pains to locate a remote village that can suit the ambience of their vision.

Only 10% of the film was captured in the actual locations and the rest is recreated in the form of sets as the director Sukumar and the cinematographer Ratnavelu wanted brown and golden hue that would not be possible once the rains set in and everything turns green.

Ramakrishna and his wife Monika had worked their best to recreate the earthly magic of 1980s . The director thinks that the art director will not get any awards because the sets look so real. Even we do feel the same. We are absolutely sure that you will feel the same when you look at the pictures of the sets that were recreated for Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’.
