Rana Daggubati‘s Forest Drama, Aranya has released in Telugu and Tamil just before the second wave. The movie has failed to set the cash registers ringing. The movie’s Hindi version was postponed at the last minute due to rising COVID cases in the North.
After a long delay, the Hindi version, Haathi Mere Saathi has worked out an OTT cum satellite release. The movie will not release in theaters. The digital premiere of Haathi Mere Saathi will happen on 18th September streaming only on Eros Now.
On the same day, it will have the direct to TV release on Zee Cinema. OTT release on Eros Now means the movie will have a very limited reach because of the very less popularity of the OTT Platform. Rana is currently busy wrapping up the shooting of his next, Virataparvam.
Virataparvam was earlier rumored to be releasing directly on Netflix. But the latest buzz is the makers are thinking on the lines to release the movie in theaters.
