Rana Daggubati is unlike ‘All said and nothing done’ type. When people from all over the world are donating for Nepal earthquake relief, Rana has also found a way to raise funds for helping the people of Nepal using the concept of crowd funding. He is using a crowd funding website to send survival kits for the survivors.
According to Rana’s concept, each survival kit would cost five thousand rupees and comprises of basic amenities like tarpaulin, mats, hygeinic kit and blankets. His aim was to send 40 such kits to Nepal and though he needs two lakh rupees, the funds that flowed in have surpassed his goal.
More funds are going to flow in the coming 7 days and these funds would go to CARE INDIA and they would distribute the survival kits with the help of CARE NEPAL. Rana is receiving huge applause from netizens and media for his act of doing something from his side by creating awareness among people.
