Making mythological or folklore movies are a Telugu cinema tradition that was the base of many films for a long time in the early stages of Telugu film industry. In the past few decades, the technology advancement and increasing budget have resulted in virtually the genre vanishing from TFI.
However, things have changed with the phenomenon created by Baahubali. Not only has it has grown our market manifolds, but even the audience are demanding such grandeur on screen. With the public interest being that it’s right time to take up such project and none other than Rana is making a move.
Rana already is a big part of Baahubali, and with him getting ready for another attempt in a similar genre, it would be a huge hype creator. Producer cum father, D Suresh Babu, has confirmed that a mythological is in an advanced stage of planning and that it would be announced officially in a month. We can’t wait for the announcement to be made sooner.
