She was roped in for playing a crucial role that has got grey shades. Ramya is adept at portraying such roles, anyway.
It was Nadhiya who chose to walk away from the movie and Ramya Krishna was the immediate choice of the makers of the movie. New-age filmmaker Thiagarajan Kumaraja is directing the movie who is known for sketching powerful woman characters in his movies.
