The famous Telugu producer, BVSN Prasad, was heard praising the actor Ram Pothineni saying, “Ram is one of the most energetic heroes in the industry. He’s like a livewire.”
He remarked that Ram was the most suitable actor for the upcoming film Ongole Gitta and added “We’ve made the film in such a way that his character is better than the energetic roles he has played in films such as Ready and Kandireega.”
Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, ‘Ongole Gitta’ is a commercial entertainer starring Kriti Kharbanda as the lead. The other members of the movie include Prakash Raj, Abhimanyu Singh, Brahmanandam, Raghubabu and Rama Prabha and music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
Admiring the ability of the director, Prasad said that “Bhaskar knows how to add appropriate amount of commercial elements into the film without defeating its purpose.”
As for the release date, he said that “We’re left with shooting of one song. We hope to release the film during Republic Day weekend.”
