It may sound strange but political sources are abuzz with rumours that Media Baron Ramoji Rao is brokering for a merger of Congress and YSR Congress. We already know that Jagan met Ramoji Rao in RFC few days ago. And then we have seen Congress Incharge Digvijay Singh going to Ramoji Rao once again.
And now, YSR Congress Senior Leader, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy met Ramoji Rao. The series of meetings with undisclosed agenda are aiding rumours that Ramoji Rao may be mediating for YSR Congress’ merger in Congress.
The speculations about Congress and YSR Congress merger is on cards for a long time. In between, it is said Jagan may be aligning towards BJP to escape from his corruption cases but presence of TDP already in NDA government did not clear route for him. Jagan may be exploring to strengthen the opposition in AP with this move.
