One has got to say without hesitation ‘Ram Pothineni before iSmart Shankar and after iSmart Shankar’. His upcoming movie ‘RED’ has high expectations on it because it’s coming right after Ram’s blockbuster with Puri Jagannadh.
Naturally, the OTT players were ready to offer huge amount for releasing the movie directly on their platform instead of waiting for a theatrical release. However, the makers weren’t keen and are said to have turned down OTT offers.
This shows the confidence of the makers in both the hero and the content of the film. RED is enjoying that confidence of the makers. So, no to direct digital release.
There is another piece of good news for Ram’s fans. Though not official yet, director Surrender Reddy is planning an energetic movie with Ram and it might probably be the sequel for Allu Arjun’s ‘Race Gurram’.
Ram being as energetic as Bunny and Bunny being busy with ‘Pushpa’ are said to be the reason why the director chose Ram for the sequel of his blockbuster movie.
