Ustaad Ram Pothineni’s action drama, The Warriorr, under the direction of Tamil mass director Lingusamy, is gearing up for a July 14th release. Co-starring youth heartthrob Krithi Shetty, the film is coming after two successes from Ram.
As of now, three songs from the film’s audio have been out. While one of them is the Bullet song, the other one is the Whistle song. As per our observation, the Bullet song is getting a good response from the youth audience. The lyrical video of the Bullet song has already breached 75 million views on YouTube. As the song is a massive hit among music lovers, the trade experts are expecting that Warriorr will take a good opening at the box office.
It has been a trend over the past few years that when the music of the film hits a chord with the audience, the film usually takes a good opening. For instance, two songs in Kiran Abbavaram’s SR Kalyanamandapam were well received, because of which the film generated a decent opening. DJ Tillu also got huge hype before the release as the title song went viral all over.
On the other hand, the music of Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki and Abbavaram’s Sammathame failed to attract the music lovers because of which there was zero hype about these films which resulted in dull openings. This week’s release, Gopichand’s Pakka Commercial, also lacks a hit song, and therefore the trade circles are predicting that its opening at the box office might not be great.
We have to wait and see how big The Warriorr will open at the box office as the music has already done the trick for the film.
