Ram Charan's First Reaction About RRR PostponementHadn’t it been for the Covid 3rd wave and the alarming surge in Omicron cases in India, RRR would have hit the big screens on the 7th of January. But owing to the Covid situation, the film’s release got postponed indefinitely.

Now, speaking at a promotional event pertaining to Rowdy Boys, Ram Charan shared his first reaction on RRR’s postponement.

“We couldn’t release RRR this Sankranthi season. But I am not too bothered. We worked tirelessly for 3 and a half years and we want to release the film at the right time. Bigwigs like Rajamouli and Danayya garu will take the final call on the release date.” Ram Charan said.

It needs to be noted that RRR is one of the costliest projects in Indian cinema, if not the costliest. An optimal release window is essential for the film to recover the magnanimous investments. Ram Charan’s comment alliums with the same.

On the work front, Charan is busy with RC15, a political thriller directed by Shankar. He is set to collaborate with Gautam Tinnanuri for RC16. As for Rowdy Boys, the film has Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish Reddy and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles and it is gearing up for release on 14th January.
