Ram Charan Signals A Strong WarningSouth cinema is the big thing in Indian cinema and particularly so, in the case of Telugu cinema. The likes of Pushpa and RRR have made a whole lot of noise in the pan-Indian belt.

So, it is only natural for Telugu stars to set up projects with elite league filmmakers. They can’t risk it with mid range directors like the way Prabhas did with Saaho and Radhe Shyam.

Now, Ram Charan has fired a clear and strong signal in this regard. He has apparently shelved his project with Gowtam Tinnanuri which was announced a few months back.

Gowtam is three films old and his previous film, the Hindi remake of Jersey was a disaster. Charan appears to be unwilling to take any undue risks now and intends to work with elite league filmmakers like Sukumar and Prashanth Neel.

This could well be the way forward for top stars from Telugu henceforth. The entire Indian film industry is looking at them and there is a lot at stake. So, they are better off working with proven and big league directors instead of experimenting around.

In that case, all the mid range and lesser known directors will have to work extra hard to enter the big league and on board a star hero. This will refine the best from the rest. Charan is one of the first heroes to send this signal now.
