Ram Charan, son of actor and politician Chiranjeevi, has made a name for himself in the film industry with a mere five movies under his belt. Right now, with his latest film in the form of 1974 Amitabh Bachachan starrer Zanzeer remake soon to be released, Ram talked candidly about the film and the various experiences associated with it. Latest updates suggest that the shooting for the film is on schedule and both the Hindi and Telugu versions are expected to open on the same day.
Answering the questions regarding what made him accept the legendary role, Ram Charan explained that his first reaction when he was offered the film was disbelief at being offered to step into Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes. But after hearing the script he realized that it wasn’t a Zanjeer remake instead Zanjeer re-imagined and accepted the role.
As for his further avenues and his father’s legacy, Ram Charan has no plans to get into politics.
