In a turn of events that surprised hardly anyone, it appears that Rajnikanth is set to become one of the highest paid stars in the world. Hansraj Saxena, who is the proud owner of a film production named Sax Pictures has offered the Superstar a sum of Rs. 250 crores in return for 30 dates for a movie Saxena has in mind.
If this deal goes through, Rajnikanth would be right up next to stars like Matt Damon and Tom Cruise in terms of the pay cheques. While the line-up for the direction of this film remains unannounced, it has emerged that the popular Telugu star Ram Charan Teja has also been signed up in order to attract both youngsters and the highly lucrative Andhra film audience, thus settling the huge cost the film is certain to sustain.
