The first day collections of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s latest flick Raju Gari Gadhi 2 are out. The opening day is the second best in Nagarjuna’s career as the overall numbers in Telugu states remains below Damarukham.
As we have previously written, the movie needed the right word of mouth to draw the crowds, and that is precisely what is happening. The horror comedy genre is showing its strength again. After decent morning shows, the collections picked up throughout the day. The first day has gone past 4 Cr in the two Telugu states.
Worldwide the Ohmkar directorial has got 5 Cr opening which is fantastic considering the low pre-release buzz. With positive talk, the movie is expected to post healthy weekend total at the box office. The problem, if any, would come, post weekend when there will be multiple releases before the completion of first week itself.
