Kochadaiiyan becomes a fear factor

Rajinikanth’s latest film Kochadaiiyan has finally been set with a release date of April 11. Due to their love and affection for Rajinikanth, this has caused various other directors to push back the release date of their own films which had been set to release on the occasion of Tamil’s New Year Day that is April 14. This includes high class films like Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and Dhanush’s ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’ which has both been postponed to be released in May. The other films that have been postponed due to Kochadaiiyan’s release are Vishal’s as well as Vadivelu’s comeback film Pujabala Thenaliraman.

As for Kochadaiiyan, it is a multilingual film and is being released at the same time in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Punjabi, English and Japanese. Breaking all other records, the movie will be released in more than six thousand halls, which is a new feat for Indian Cinema.
