The much-awaited Shah Rukh and Deepika starrer ‘Chennai Express’ hit theatres recently and is all over the news for one of its song ‘Lungi Dance’ by the popular singer Honey Singh. Apparently the song is a tribute to the legendary star Rajinikanth in return for a favour in Shahrukh’s film ‘Ra.1’. Southern celebrity Rajinikanth praised the song and enjoyed listening to it on YouTube. Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan recalled his conversation with the Super Star Rajni stating that it is “very good, very naughty, and very sweet”.
‘Thalaiva tribute ( Lungi dance)’ was made after it was approved by Rajini and his daughter and Shahrukh is glad that they loved the song and he felt honoured. Reports say that the song was filmed in just a day and a half. Superstar Shahrukh Khan also said that the film would’ve been incomplete without the song.
