Kochadaiyaan is the upcoming film of Superstar Rajinikanth which is coming into Telugu as Vikrama Simha. The film is carrying lots of buzz as it’s the first Rajinikanth film that would be coming to theaters after a long gap of three years. Not only that the film will mark the debut of his daughter Soundarya and have the current hot and happening Deepika Padukone in the lead opposite Superstar.

Apart from those casting specialties the film comes with many first technically. It is touted to be India’s first motion capture film. Rajinikanth would therefore be the first actor to star in a film using this technology for the entire duration. And now if the latest news doing the rounds is to be believed the film will have another first to its credit by becoming the first South Indian film to have no break in it. Yes you read that right, Vikrama Simha according to latest reports has been shortened in length to make it crispier and after this reduced length the makers felt that it would be better off without a break. So they have reportedly decided to release the film without any interval.

Coming to national level only one film starring a major here has been released so far without a break. It is Aamir Khan starrer Dhobi Ghat produced by the actor himself. The film had a ninety minutes runtime and it ran without a break. Vikrama Simha would be the second film on national level starring a major hero to release without a break. Let’s see how much useful this no break thing proves to be for the makers.
