It’s the season of dual roles in Tamil industry. After Suriya and Vijay in Anjaan and Kaththi, respectively, superstar Rajinikanth will appear in two avatars for his film Lingaa, which is currently on floors in Hyderabad. A source close to the team reveals that Rajini will playing the role in present day and in flashback sequences. While Rajini was seen in triple roles in his last film Kochadaiiyaan, this time he plans to appear in two avatars.
The source said that Rajini will seen as a district collector in one of the roles, while the other one seems to be kept a secret. The film’s shooting with Sonakshi Sinha is progressing at a very brisk pace. Jagapathi Babu recently has joined the sets of the film and he’s apparently having a ball shooting with the superstar. According to him, it’s his dream come true for the actor for sharing screen space for the second time.
The makers are planning to release the film during Diwali if everything goes as planned. So far, the shoot has been going on very smoothly as planned.
