Rajini's daughter seeks the blessing of Balaji

It’s a proud as well as nervous moment for Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, who is awaiting the release of her most anticipated film Kochadaiiyaan. Ahead of the release Friday, Soundarya paid a quick visit to Tirupati and prayed for the film’s success. It’s an acid test for her and we’ll get to know if she can pull it off in his big-budget endeavor.

After visiting Tirupati, Soundarya posted on Twitter the following. Leaving tirupathi after the most divine darshan! Venkateshwara … bless us and India’s first performance capture film. #kochadaiiyaan. Will Soundarya’s prayers be answered by the almighty? We have to wait to find out if they are answered when the film releases Friday worldwide. The 125-crore budget is releasing after multiple postponements but that has not reduced the buzz around the film because a multiplex in Chennai is screening as many as 100 shows everyday.

We have to see if the film will be able to register a record opening. Considering it’s a Rajinikanth film, it is bound to take a huge opening, but we have to see of it can break the records of films such as Dhoom 3 and Krrish 3.
