Superstar Rajinikanth has undergone heart surgery at Kauvery Hospital, Chennai today, October 29. The actor is completely fine and recuperating well. The actor is advised of complete rest and will be discharged in a few days.
In this regard, a statement has also been issued from the hospital management. Rajinikanth joined the hospital on October 28, after he complained of giddiness and a slight headache. Subsequently, he was rushed to the hospital where after a thorough examination, the actor was advised to undergo Carotid Artery revascularisation.
It may be recalled that no sooner the news about Rajinikanth hospitalisation went viral, wide speculations started on social media on his health. However, the actor is completely fine. Meanwhile, security has been beefed up outside the hospital with police personnel deployed.
On the work front, Rajinikanth awaits the release of his action-packed Annaatthe. The trailer has set the expectations high as it promises to be a complete mass feast for his fans. Directed by Siva, the film is set for theatrical release as a Diwali special, November 4.
