After the mixed success of their last film Kabali, superstar Rajinikanth and director Pa Ranjith are all set to team up once again for their next project. This project which will likely be another gangster film is expected to start in a few weeks and will be bankrolled by Wunderbar Films which is thehome production banner of actor Dhanush.
The film is expected to be shot mostly against the backdrop of Mumbai slums. As for the cast and crew, not much has been said but the unofficial information is that Vidya Balan is interested in working on this project as it won’t require her to travel. So it might be possible that Vidya is paired with Rajini for this film.
Moreover, Rajinikanth will undergo a huge makeover for this film. As for the timeline of the film, actor Dhanush has confirmed on his twitter that the film will begin rolling from May.
