Superstar Rajinikanth recently announced foraying into politics. He promised to reveal the name of his party and its objectives on December 31st as New Year Special. Speculations are already on in the Chennai political circles about the party.
Buzz is that the Superstar has taken over an already registered but unrecognized party called Makkal Sevai Katchi. He is going to use Auto Rickshaw as his party symbol. It is not yet clear if it is his party symbol or the poll symbol.
It is unlikely that the Election Commission will decide upon the poll symbol so easily. Makkal Sevai Katchi means People Service Party. Rajinikanth played an auto driver in his blockbuster hit, Basha and so, the fans are going gaga over these rumors.
The Superstar is currently in Chennai and has started a 45-day long schedule for his next film, Annaatthe in Ramoji film city.
