One Vasanth Paul has now turned a Facebook sensation after he posted an update that he had rescued a woman from gang rape, when he was returning home after watching ‘Kabali’s first day, first show.
Three men allegedly were trying to rape a woman when he was passing through a sparsely populated area. Hearing the cries, he went to rescue the woman and another man, an auto-driver joined him in the rescue operation. This post went viral on Internet recording 1.43 lakh likes and 35,000 shares.
But when the police wanted Vasanth Paul to show the site of the incident, he was unable to do so. The man says he was drunk at that moment and hence didn’t go to a police station to report the crime. Moreover, the woman requested him not to file a police case says Vasanth Paul.
