Rajinikanth-Film-Kaala-Gets-a-Notice-from-High-CourtMadras High Court responded to the PIL (Public Interest Litigation) filed by an assistant director Rajasekharan who alleged that the story idea of Rajnikanth’s Pa Ranjith directorial ‘Kaala’ was copied from his story which he had narrated to the superstar a decade ago.

The Madras High Court issued notices to the producer of the movie, Dhanush, director Pa Ranjith and South Indian Film Actors Association asking them for a reply before 12th February. In the past, Rajasekharan filed the plagiarism case in a Chennai Court and as per the court’s directive, he approached the Madras High Court.

While the court cases are taking their own course, the makers of the movie are busy with the post-production work. The superstar has been dubbing for his part in ‘Kaala’ and after this, the first copy of the movie is expected to be ready very soon. However, the release date isn’t finalised, yet.
